TEAMS

Home Ground
Mad Rollin’ Dolls has four home teams and two interleague teams. Each team is made up of 20 fierce athletes, with 14 of them skating at each bout. The home teams consist of the Quad Squad, the superheroes She-Ra and Wonder Woman wish they were in league with; the Reservoir Dolls, a skate crime syndicate that even the mafia fears; the Unholy Rollers, who have a bit of extra bite that coffins can’t contain; and the Vaudeville Vixens, a troupe of performers so daring and outrageous, they can no longer be considered “good society.”
Taking It on the Road
The interleague squads consist of skaters from the four home teams. Team Unicorn is a non-chartered team with the mission of letting all skaters compete at a national, and international, level. The Dairyland Dolls is the MRD all-star team with a roster of skaters who have proven their dedication to the sport through their finely-honed skills and commitment to travel.
Not Without...
Of course, you can’t have a sport without an excellent team of support people helping out! Team UDO is the United Derby Officials Local 608, a group of finely-honed referees and non-skating officials (NSOs) who ensure that every hit is a legal one. Team Support are MRD’s tireless helpers who donate many hours to setting up the track, tearing tickets, keeping track of game stats, and so much more. If you love watching roller derby, you have them to thank for it.
Our Non-Compete Clause
And don’t forget to check out the Mad Wreckin’ Dolls, the newest non-competitive addition to the MRD family. This recreation league makes it possible for any woman to be a roller girl; if you can lace up a pair of skates, you can be a Wrecker!
