Just as the Windy City Rollers’ The Fury dominated their start against the Unholy Rollers a month ago, the Double Crossers won the first ten leads against the Vaudeville Vixens. But the Double Crossers didn’t put up the huge scores that their league mates had. Despite dominating pack action, the Crossers led just by 40 points, 60-20, after a quarter of play.

If not for the Reservoir Dolls’ 359 points in the night’s first bout, the Windy City Rollers' The Fury would have been the first team to top 300 points on an MRD track. And while a blowout like the first bout, the Unholy Rollers, skating the bout as the “Unholy Tacos,” at least made the second half a contest.
